Payment Terms: Payment in full is required upon the completion of work specified above. Blue Frost Heating and Cooling accepts all major credit cards, checks, and cash. All returned checks may incur up-to a $125.00 service fee. We also offer financing options through Wells Fargo, Green Sky and Service Finance; please review options with your technician. Our client agrees to pay all attorney fees, costs, and expenses incurred by Blue Frost Heating and Cooling to enforce this estimate once approved including the collection of any unpaid balance. All payments by credit card may incur a 2.5% transaction fee per the state of Illinois to cover the transaction cost.
Special Arrangement (OK TO BILL) Payment Terms: All payments must be received within 30 days from completion of work. Failure to pay within the 30 days from the completion of the work may void all warranties. There will be a 2% finance charge per month on any balance over 30 days. Client agrees to pay all attorney fees, costs, and expenses incurred by Blue Frost Heating and Cooling to enforce this estimate once approved including the collection of any unpaid balances.
Estimates Awarded: A 50% deposit, along with the signed estimate, is required at the time an estimate is approved for completion. When an estimate is not sold at the time of the service visit, you may phone in the approval and a member of Blue Frost Heating and Cooling will take a deposit payment of no less than 50% of the awarded work at the time of scheduling the estimate. The proposal and deposit check may be sent via USPS or you may drop off the signed proposal and deposit to the office during normal office business hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Excluding Holidays.
All work that has been quoted is to be done during regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise specified in the estimate. Any alterations or deviations from the specifications outlined in the quoted estimate may involve extra costs, including but not limited to: scheduling outside of regular business hours, and will be executed only upon written orders by the client, and will become an extra charge over and above the above estimate. Any order change may impact the scheduled and specified completion times and date.
Cancelation of Special-order items may incur cost such as non-refundable shipping and or restocking fees.
Repairs:
Warranties and Limitations of Residential Repair Warranties: (Non-Blue Frost Advantage Members and Yearly Blue Frost Advantage Program Members) Blue Frost Heating and Cooling warranties that all parts and labor that was completed shall be free from defects for a period of one (1) year from the date said work was performed.
(Monthly Blue Frost Advantage Members) Blue Frost Heating and Cooling warranties that all parts and labor that was completed shall be free from defects for an exclusive lifetime replacement guarantee from the date said work was performed. A Concurrent Monthly Blue Frost Advantage Program membership is required to maintain this guarantee. This warranty is non-transferable and is subject to be void once the membership lapses. All parts replaced under the original manufacturers’ warranties are subject to current labor rate charges and will be warrantied under the original time of service.
Warranties and Limitations of Commercial Repair Warranties: Blue Frost Heating and Cooling warranties that all parts and labor was completed shall be free from defects for a period of one (1) year from the date said work was performed.
Customer-supplied Parts Residential and Commercial: Customer-supplied parts, materials and/or equipment are excluded from Blue Frost Heating and Cooling warranties. The owner assumes all responsibility for work and materials and related warranties that are not supplied by Blue Frost Heating and Cooling.
Work performed with the Part Covered under Manufacturer warranty: AKA LABOR ONLY. THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES DO NOT INCLUDE LABOR, or any other costs incurred for service, maintenance, repair, removing, replacing, installing, complying with local building and electric codes, shipping or handling, or replacement of the System, compressors or any other parts, additional materials required to install part, overhead, labor to warranty parts or additional labor to acquire parts. This service encompasses the manufactured part covered by the parts warranty, labor costs, overhead expenses associated with acquiring the part, materials essential for installing the part not covered by the manufacture, thorough testing of the unit’s functionality, and the facilitation of warranty paperwork processing. Additionally, it includes the convenience of having the part readily available on the service truck for efficient servicing.
*Excluded from this service are any supplementary parts beyond the specified part and its installation materials, along with shipping charges and any potential additional manufacturer fees. It is important to note that the part being installed is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. By replacing this part, it maintains the original duration of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Extended Warranties:
Extended Warranties can be purchased from a 3rd party, JB Warranties LLC. JB. Warranties start date is from date of installation. For claims or information about your contract contact Blue Frost accounting department. Dealer provides service for repairs for the JB contract during dealer’s normal working hours. Shipping, handling, and refrigerant disposal fees are not covered and are the responsibility of the owner. Proper annual maintenance by Blue Frost Heating and Cooling is required by the owner and proof of such may be required to validate coverage. See store for complete list of agreement terms. **Labor warranty can be Extended up to a maximum of 10-years on select Blue Frost installed equipment, Installed the Premium Blue Frost Way, with active monthly-billed Blue Frost Membership Advantage plan. Clients must be continuously enrolled in monthly plan from the date of installation for extension to apply, Auto-renew with the Blue Frost Advantage Program each year. Cancellation or deferment of plan will void the extended labor warranty and revert to the original 1-year Labor warranty. Warranty cannot be transferred should the client cease to own the residence where equipment is located; in this case warranty would revert to 1-year Labor status. Extended 10-year warranty is not applicable on HVAC accessories, nor does it cover Acts of God and follows with the manufacturer’s guidelines on warranty parts. All Manufacturers come with a manufacturer’s warranty that will be printed on the invoice or started on the manufacturers website at date of install. See specific Manufacturer’s website for details. 1-Year labor included on all installs unless otherwise stated in the Estimate. All Labor Warranties require annual maintenance from Blue Frost Heating and Cooling or are void at 1 year from the date of installation. Yearly maintenance by licensed professionals is required to maintain manufacturers’ parts warranty. Subject to change at any time.
Under NO Circumstances shall Blue Frost Heating and Cooling be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages including, without limitation, lost goodwill, lost revenues or profits, work stoppage, system failure, impairment of other goods, cost of removal and reinstallation of system, loss of use, injury to persons or property arising out of related to the system whether based on breach of warranty, breach of contract, tort or otherwise, even if Blue Frost heating and cooling has been advised of the possibility of such damaged. In no event shall Blue Frost Heating and Cooling liability exceed the actual purchase price of the system with respect to which any claim is made.
Blue Frost Membership Advantage Plan Terms & Conditions: Continued Enrollment of up to 6 months after maintenance service has been rendered is mandatory. Blue Frost Heating and Cooling will automatically charge the credit card on file monthly for all applicable fees, and each month thereafter in the amount of the membership plan agreed upon at the time of enrollment, unless and/or until you cancel your membership. Charges for the membership will take place on the 1st of every month from the time of initial enrollment. If a different credit card is requested to be used or if there is a change in the credit card validity or expiration date, the client may edit their information by contacting Blue Frost Heating and Cooling by phone, fax, email, mail or in person during regular business hours. If the credit card on file reaches its expiration date, and is not update to a new payment method, Blue Frost Heating and Cooling will continue billing that credit card and you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. Cancellation requests must be in writing and will be honored within 7 working days. Once maintenance has been performed, full payment for the cost of the visit must be remitted before cancellation can take place of the membership plan and all in house warranties become void at that time.
Notice of Cancellation: “YOU, THE CONSUMER, MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT OF THE THIRD BUSINESS DAY AFTER THE DATE OF THIS TRANSACTION. SEE THE ATTACHED NOTICE OF CANCELLATION FORM FOR AN EXPLANATION OF THIS RIGHT.”
