Insulate Vulnerable Pipes

If you have particular pipes that are prone to freezing, make sure you take the time to insulate them before a big snow storm hits. The process of doing so is easy; simply wrap them in insulation sleeves to keep them from freezing.

Clear Snow & Ice

If you have an outdoor unit, you’ll need to clear the snow and ice from the unit to help keep your home warm. Doing so will also reduce the number of repairs that you’ll need to make in the future. If too much snow builds up, it can cause the condensing unit and heat pumps to restrict their air flow. Too much ice and snow can also prevent the unit from defrosting, which will have an impact on its lifespan.
